WAX CARVING WORKSHOP

This workshop is an introduction to the ancient art of wax carving. You will learn how to design, adapt your design to the wax with a diverse spectrum of techniques such as modelling, carving or shaping with heat. Later on, this ring will be cast in sterling silver to create the final jewelry piece.

After the class, each participant will have a finished wax model and the knowledge to continue their practice. The silver rings will be ready for pick-up or sending 3 weeks after the class.

Wax carving is like sculpture for jewelry. It is a very meditative technique that opens the possibility to infinite shapes, textures, and experimentation. I will share with you everything I know about this fascinating technique so that you can carve amazing pieces of jewelry in no time.
